at Tredethy House serves good, uncomplicated food based on Italian regional recipes.
In the best tradition of the Italian trattoria, the principle is simple: the best seasonal, organic and local ingredients, and some gourmet Italian staples, like the creamy and freshest buffalo mozzarella, the best single estates extra virgin olive oils, prime cured meats for our classic antipasti and Taggiasche olives from Liguria to name a few. Handmade pasta, plus the award winning produce Cornwall has to offer, local meat and the best fish from our local fishermen..
Our simple cooking skills do the rest, and the relaxed atmosphere of the TRATTORIA is the right environment to enjoy the food.
TRATTORIA is now open seasonally Friday and Saturday evenings and we welcome party bookings on other evenings.
Being a birthday party, an informal and intimate evening out with friends or a special day, TRATTORIA can offer the perfect combination of a magical location, an easy atmosphere, simple food and excellent value.
The wine list is is small, perfectly formed and offers some of the best organic wines.
